In June 2025, Hangxiao Steel Structure (Henan) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Henan Hangxiao") successfully secured the contract for the Mymensingh Kewatkhali Bridge project in Bangladesh.

Located in Mymensingh City, a critical transportation hub in northern Bangladesh, the bridge will span a tributary of the Brahmaputra River. It serves as a vital link connecting the local urban and rural economic zones. The main bridge structure measures 320 meters in length and 42.15 meters in width, designed as a three-span steel box arch bridge. The 180-meter main span features a half-through steel arch bridge with suspenders, employing the incremental launching construction method – a highly technical process. Upon completion, the project will significantly alleviate regional traffic congestion, enhance logistics efficiency, and provide robust support for the development of local agriculture and manufacturing industries.

Participation in the Mymensingh Kewatkhali Bridge project reaffirms Henan Hangxiao's capabilities in overseas engineering execution and paves the way for subsequent involvement in Bangladeshi projects within sectors like smart cities and industrial parks. Moving forward, Henan Hangxiao will fully leverage its expertise in long-span steel structure design and modular construction.
